My name is Kathy, and I am the owner and groomer here at Barks County Dogs.  I have always loved and had a passion for animals.  After spending some time as a teacher, I realized my place and passion was really for working with animals.  I got into the world of grooming and fell in love with the job and, of course, the dogs.  I am fully trained but feel you should never stop learning so I am always attending seminars and reading up on the latest news in grooming.  I feel building a long-term, trusting relationship with my clients is one of the most important aspects of grooming.  I strive every day to give my customers, four and two legged, the best experience possible.  It is my mission to make sure each pet leaves looking and feeling it's best, and wanting to come back!
