About Us

History

Hi! My name is Kathleen Donovan. I am the owner and sole groomer at Barks County Dogs. After years as a biology teacher I realized my heart and passion lay in the world of caring for dogs. I left teaching in 2008 to follow my dream of dog grooming and haven’t looked back. I strive to develop relationships with my customers and their pups, both become part of the Barks family. I am fully trained and insured, and am constantly learning new things through classes and conventions in order to give the dogs in my care nothing but the best when they come in for their dog spa day.
